Our 3rd Annual Country Connections weekend will take place on 21st to 22nd April 2018.
This is a much valued opportunity for grieving families near and far to connect with each other – particularly for those who attend our regular monthly support group meetings. Attendance is free for our members. The cost for non-members to attend is $15.00 per day which includes catering and resources for the day. Annual membership is $30.00.
Saturday program. Morning tea is 10am. Sessions led by Dr Nadine Pelling (Clinical Psychologist and UniSA lecturer), support groups for both parents and siblings (16+. A movie session for younger siblings is available at this time), Reflection time and Candlelight Service are scheduled which also includes full catering. The day will conclude at approx 7.30 to 8.00pm.
Sunday program. Morning tea is 10am. There are 3 grief therapy sessions: Walk to Remember, Meditation/ Journalling and Art Therapy,with a final session for a Remembrance Ceremony to conclude the day and the weekend.
Those who choose to are welcome to join other members at a nearby hotel at their own expense
