Candle lighting

Christmas can be a difficult time for us. The concept of the World Candle Light Service is to create a light that encompasses the world, honouring the memory of our children or siblings. On the first Sunday of December at 7.00 pm we light a candle individually, in memory of our child or sibling and as each time zone lights their candle it continues around the world. It is an opportunity for a purposeful night of reflection at the start of a difficult period.

Due to events that take place in South Australia at this time, we have traditionally held this service on the last Saturday in November.
