Our charity offers support and friendship to parents, siblings and grandparents after the death of a child, irrespective of age or cause. We focus on the relationship rather than cause of death. Our aim is that people will find hope and meaning in life after a devastating traumatic loss.
We offer support groups, telephone crisis line, newsletters and annual events such as our CandleLight Service all staffed by volunteers who are themselves parents or siblings of a lost child.
Our most recent initiative created an annual weekend event to support country families by bringing them to Adelaide. The program includes a support group, a psychologist led session, CandleLight Service, a Balloon Release, meditation and healing workshops so that families can release their grief in a supportive environment. Many families do not have access to any mental health support services.
Your donation will fund abd develop the existing supports we have in place. We hope to make a financial contribution to the travel or accommodation costs/expenses of coming to Adelaide so families do not feel financially disadvantaged. Your donation WILL make a difference.
